Gold slips further in Pakistan as prices fall below Rs. 475,000

Pakistan’s bullion market recorded a significant decline on Wednesday, as gold prices dropped sharply in line with a steep fall in global markets.

According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold per tola fell by Rs. 6,800, settling at Rs. 470,362.

Similarly, the rate of 24-karat gold per 10 grams declined by Rs. 5,830, closing at Rs. 403,259, while 22-karat gold per 10 grams dropped by Rs. 5,344 to Rs. 369,667.

Gold rates in Pakistan on Wednesday, May 20, 2026:

  • Gold, 24K per tola: Rs. 470,362 (–6,800)
  • Gold, 24K per 10 grams: Rs. 403,259 (–5,830)
  • Gold, 22K per 10 grams: Rs. 369,667 (–5,344)

Meanwhile, international gold prices recorded a sharp decline of $68, settling at $4,480 per ounce.
