Silver prices in Pakistan recorded a steep decline on Friday, snapping a recent run of gains as global precious metals markets saw a sharp and sudden pullback.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat silver per tola decreased by Rs. 972, settling at Rs. 8,232.

Similarly, the rate of 24-karat silver per 10 grams fell by Rs. 833, closing at Rs. 7,057.

- Silver, 24K per tola: Rs. 8,232 (–972)
- Silver, 24K per 10 grams: Rs. 7,057 (–833)
In the international market, silver prices also recorded a heavy decline, falling by $9.72 to settle at $77.48 per ounce.

The sharp drop in global precious metals markets weighed heavily on domestic silver prices, as investors rushed to reassess their positions amid rapidly shifting international market conditions.
Silver, widely used in industrial sectors including electronics and solar panel manufacturing, remains sensitive to shifts in international demand and investor outlook.
All rates are officially certified by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, based on interbank exchange rates for 999 purity (24K).
