Public reaction in India has turned surprisingly positive after Pakistan’s reported role in securing a temporary ceasefire between the United States and Iran, according to media reports and social media trends.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Army Chief Asim Munir have been credited for their leadership, with many observers calling it a positive step toward regional peace.

Following Pakistan’s request, a two-week ceasefire between the United States and Iran has reportedly been welcomed globally. Indian social media users also openly appreciated Pakistan’s diplomatic role.
