The prime minister also briefed the Saudi crown prince on Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts aimed at reducing tensions in the Middle East. He emphasized that Pakistan is actively working with friendly nations to promote peace and stability.

Sharif appreciated the Saudi leadership’s restraint during the ongoing crisis and stressed the importance of avoiding further escalation. He also conveyed his regards to King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
Meanwhile, Pakistan’s Foreign Office issued a statement condemning missile and drone attacks reportedly carried out by Iran on Saudi energy infrastructure.
