LNG Imports and Ramadan Demand

Karachi relies heavily on imported LNG to meet household and industrial gas demand. During Ramadan, gas consumption increases significantly for cooking Sehri and Iftar meals, putting pressure on supply networks.

Recent tensions in the Middle East have raised concerns over LNG shipments, prompting SSGC and government authorities to prepare contingency plans to ensure adequate gas supply during the holy month.
