The body of an infant was recovered near train tracks in Quaidabad.
Another such body was found near the railway station’s gate. The two bodies were shifted to Edhi Centre Sohrab Goth.
Rescue officials said that two more bodies of infants were found in Baldia Town, Sector 3 on February 21 and 22.
Officials claim that locals of the area alerted them about the bodies’ presence in all cases. They further said that the workers found all of the infants dead upon arrival
The sharp rise in the discovery of infant bodies in the city should cause alarm among law enforcement bodies.
