Karachi has been experiencing colder weather following recent rainfall, with chilly winds from Quetta blowing at speeds of 20 to 22 km/h, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department.
These winds are expected to strengthen, reaching speeds of 30 to 35 km/h tomorrow, January 24, making the cold feel more intense.

The Meteorological Department has said that the cold weather may continue in Karachi until the end of this month.
Night-time temperatures are expected to range between 9°C to 12°C, while day-time highs could stay between 22°C to 24°C.
Meanwhile, the city experienced clear weather on Friday as cold and dry winds continued to dominate the city’s climate, bringing a noticeable drop in temperature.

Despite the chilly conditions, no rainfall is forecast in Sindh, although the skies may remain partly cloudy.
The northern parts of the country could see the impact of a western weather system during this period.
