The minimum temperature recorded in Karachi early this morning was 10.5 degrees Celsius, reflecting the intensity of the cold spell currently affecting the city.
The current temperature was reported at 12 degrees Celsius, while the humidity level stood at 32 percent, indicating relatively dry air conditions.

Meteorologists expect the maximum temperature to reach around 22 degrees Celsius during the day, but cold winds are likely to persist, maintaining the overall chilly feel.
Officials from the Meteorological Department confirmed that there is no probability of rain in the city today, January 23, 2026.

The clear skies and dry winds are expected to continue throughout the day, providing relief from recent rainfall but intensifying the winter chill, especially during morning and night hours.
Meanwhile, Karachi witnessed significant rainfall in some areas a day earlier.
Surjani Town recorded the highest rainfall, measuring 26.3 millimeters, followed by North Karachi with 20 millimeters and Gulshan-e-Maymar with 17 millimeters.
