All schools and boards across Sindh must now follow the same syllabus.
The Directorate of Curriculum, Assessment, and Research (DCAR) has reviewed and approved the curriculum. Introduced under the Sindh School Education Standards Act, the policy also establishes a single table of specifications for examination papers.
Officials state this uniform exam syllabus will eliminate disparities between different educational boards. Students in various districts will now study and be tested identically. This aims to create a more level academic playing field.
The notification has been sent to the Sindh Textbook Board and relevant directors.
