The National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) has made it clear that complete Covid-19 vaccination is mandatory for ulema and naat-reciters taking part in any Milad gatherings and Seerat conferences.
NCOC further reinforced that compliance of the coronavirus SOPs is non-negotiable at any of the venues of these conferences.
Thermal screening of all visitors at entrances of mosques, religious gatherings and other worship places should be ensured, the NCOC said in a statement while also reminding that visitors at these venues should wear masks at all times and maintain social distancing.
The NCOC suggested the authorities allow only “licensed/traditional” Rabiul Awwal processions.
