Stars and Invincibles bounced back in the second round of the National Women’s One-Day Tournament 2025-26 on Sunday, securing impressive victories after defeats in the opening round.
Matches were held at the HPC Ground and Iqbal Stadium in Faisalabad.
At the HPC Ground, Stars set a challenging target of 188 against Challengers, thanks to contributions from Syeda Aroob Shah (42 off 47 balls) and Sidra Amin (40 off 56 balls).

After a strong start, Challengers looked poised to chase the total, reaching 101-2, but then lost eight wickets for just 49 runs.
Left-arm spinner Anam Amin turned the game on its head with brilliant figures of 5-34 in 8.2 overs, dismantling the Challengers’ batting lineup.

Sadaf Shamas narrowly missed out on a century, scoring 95 off 127 balls, while Huraina Sajjad added 32.
Despite their efforts, Challengers were bowled out for 150, giving Stars a 37-run victory.
Stars’ Syeda Aroob Shah also contributed with the ball, taking 2-20 in six overs, complementing Amin’s match-winning performance.

Aleena Shah, Rameen Shamim, and Neha Sharmin Nadeem were the key wicket-takers for Challengers, picking up two wickets each.
Meanwhile, at Iqbal Stadium, Invincibles made light work of Strikers while chasing a modest 113-run target.
Strikers, after a steady start at 58-2, collapsed to 112 all out in 38.4 overs, with Aliya Riaz top-scoring with 31 runs.
Invincibles’ bowlers dominated, with Momina Riasat and Tasmia Rubab taking three wickets each, and Tuba Hassan and Neelam Mushtaq chipping in with two wickets apiece.

Chasing the target, Muneeba Ali anchored the innings with a brilliant 80 off 69 balls, hitting 14 fours and a six.
She shared a crucial 103-run partnership with Dua Majid, who remained unbeaten on 28, guiding Invincibles to an eight-wicket victory with 175 balls to spare.
With these wins, both Stars and Invincibles returned to winning ways, showcasing strong performances with both bat and ball as the National Women’s One-Day Tournament 2025-26 continues.
