Karachi’s 25% of population above 18 years are vaccinated, said Sindh government’s spokesperson Murtaza Wahab on Thursday.
According to the data showed by Wahab, 3.6 million people had their jabs with 2.6 million getting the first dose while 0.96 million are fully vaccinated with the second jab.
Data shared by Wahab in his Twitter handle, 25.79% of residents above the age of 18 are shown in the chart who had their vaccine shots.
District East with 58% of its adults in the chart and 52% of South are shown vaccinated against the virus.

Moreover, it shows the provincial population of 6.6 million people which makes 18% of its population had their vaccine jabs across the province.
He appreciated the people of Sindh for getting themselves vaccinated against the virus, said that a total of 211,911 citizens received dose of COVID vaccine in the province of Sindh during the last 24 hours.
“The number of vaccinations has sharply increased over the last few days,” said Wahab.
Earlier on Sunday, Sindh Health Department has also came forward taking measurements to ramp up the vaccination drive, it made 10 large vaccination centres in the districts of Karachi, which are operational round the clock.
