The Pakistan Veterans Cricket Association (PVCA) has announced the 18-member national squad for the International Masters Cricket (IMC) Over-40s T20 World Cup 2025, bringing together a mix of celebrated former internationals and consistent veteran performers.
The squad was revealed by former Test cricketer and PVCA Chief Selector Ajaz Ahmed Faquih.

Abdul Razzaq, the former all-rounder who played 343 international matches, scoring over 7,400 runs and taking more than 380 wickets, will captain the side.

Adding star power, Shahid Afridi, who featured in 524 international matches, scoring over 11,000 runs and taking more than 540 wickets, is also part of the squad.
Fawad Alam has been named vice-captain.
With more than 2,000 international runs to his name, he is expected to provide stability in the middle order.

Other notable players include Sohail Khan (51 international wickets), Zulfiqar Babar (54 wickets in 15 Tests), Tabish Khan (former Test pacer), and Humayun Farhat, a former wicketkeeper-batsman who represented Pakistan in both Tests and ODIs.
Their experience adds depth and balance to the team.
The legendary Javed Miandad will serve as the team mentor, offering invaluable experience and guidance, supported by former Test cricketer Jalaluddin as head coach and Azam Khan as team manager.
PVCA Chairman Fawad Ijaz Khan expressed confidence in the squad, stating, “This team represents the strength and spirit of Pakistan cricket at the veteran level.”

The IMC Over-40s T20 World Cup 2025 will feature 12 international teams, with a total of 42 matches set to take place across various venues in Karachi from November 21 to December 1.
