Pakistan all-rounder Aamir Jamal has been left devastated after announcing the tragic passing of his newborn daughter, a loss that has deeply moved fans and the cricketing community.
The cricketer shared the heartbreaking news on Instagram, posting an emotional photo in which he is seen holding his baby’s tiny hand. Along with the image, Jamal wrote a touching message that read:
“From Allah, to Allah. I couldn’t hold you longer, my lil angel. Baba & Mama will miss you. May you stay on highest ranks in Heaven.”
Within minutes, messages of prayer and condolences poured in from fans, teammates, and senior cricketers. Former Pakistan women’s captain Sana Mir also extended her support, praying for strength for Jamal and his family during this painful time.

Jamal has represented Pakistan in eight Test matches, three ODIs, and six T20Is.
He has taken 21 Test wickets and five wickets in white-ball cricket, and continues to feature in domestic competitions, including the ongoing Quaid-e-Azam Trophy.
