Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) announced a temporary gas supply suspension in several Karachi areas on Wednesday, October 15, 2025.
According to an official announcement, the gas supply will remain suspended from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM to help repairing on the 16-inch diameter pipeline near the ICI Bridge in Karachi.
The gas will remain suspended in several areas affected areas include Maripur Road, Lyari, Sikandarabad, West Wharf, and PN Dockyard, where users are likely to go through complete disruption of gas supply during the announced repair time.
SSGC stated that the temporary shutdown is part of necessary safety and maintenance procedures aimed at ensuring the integrity of the gas transmission network and preventing potential operational risks.
