The city will experience mostly sunny and humid conditions on October 07 as Cyclone Shakhti continues to move away from the Pakistani coastline.

The Cyclone, which was earlier approaching Karachi, is now positioned approximately 910 kilometers southwest of the metropolis, in the Arabian Sea.

According to the meteorological department, the storm has weakened from a Severe Cyclonic Storm to a Cyclonic Storm and is moving further east-southeastwards, away from Pakistan’s coastal regions.

While the storm’s influence may bring isolated light rain or drizzle to the coastal belt, most parts of Sindh province will experience hot and dry weather conditions.

Authorities have maintained precautionary advisories for fishermen, strongly advising against venturing into the deep sea during the forecast period due to potentially hazardous maritime conditions.
