Sixteen Pakistani cricketers registered for the International League T20 (ILT20) Season 4 auction, but only three of them secured contracts.
Following the conclusion of the ILT20 Season 4 auction, the three Pakistani cricketers included Fakhar Zaman, Naseem Shah, at their base price of $80,000 (around PKR 22.4 million),
and Hassan Nawaz was signed at $40,000 (around PKR 11.2 million).
It is worth noting here that all three Pakistani players were signed by the Desert Vipers.
The notable unsold names of Pakistani cricketers were Imad Wasim, Faheem Ashraf, and Saim Ayub, all of whom had entered the auction in the top $80,000 price bracket.
The list of registered Pakistani players also included Mohammad Nawaz, and Mohammad Haris, but none of them found a buyer during the player auction.
Zaman Khan, Usama Mir, and Mohammad Hasnain were among those in the mid-tier $40,000 band, yet remained unsold despite strong performances in recent T20 leagues.
Young talents such as Salman Irshad, and Sufiyan Muqeem had listed themselves at the lowest $10,000 category but failed to attract any franchise interest.
