The Asian Cricket Council (ACC) meeting held in Dubai recently focused on post tournament issues after the Asia Cup 2005.
ACC President Mohsin Naqvi chaired the meeting, with various matters discussed. However, the topic of the Asia Cup trophy was not on the official agenda.
During the session, Rajeev Shukla, who represents the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), insisted on handing over the Asia Cup trophy to the Indian Cricket Board.
Mohsin Naqvi, the ACC President, stated that the Indian captain can come to the ACC’s office and receive the trophy.
