The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) will hold open courts in Karachi on Thursday, August 29, 2025, to address concerns about identity documents and registration issues.

This initiative follows Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif’s directive to make NADRA’s services more accessible and clear to citizens.

NADRA announced on social media that two sessions will be held at major locations in Karachi, which are as follows:

S.NO ADDRESS TIMINGS LOCATION
1 NADRA Mega Centre, SITE Industrial Area, Siemens Chowrangi Zone. 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM Link
2 NADRA Mega Centre, Plot D 1-15, Block L, District Central, North Nazimabad. 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM Link

Residents are encouraged to attend the session nearest to them and bring relevant documents. This will help resolve issues related to Computerized National Identity Cards (CNICs), Family Registration Certificates (FRCs), and other identity services.

The open courts are part of NADRA’s ongoing efforts to engage directly with the public, improve services, and resolve complaints quickly.

This initiative aims to enhance communication between citizens and the authority while also reducing delays in document processing.

NADRA is Pakistan’s main agency for managing identity records. It issues important documents such as CNICs, B-Forms, and family certificates.

To improve access, it also offers the Pak ID mobile app, which allows users to apply for documents, upload necessary files, track their applications, and make payments online. This service has been especially helpful for overseas Pakistanis and those who prefer digital options over in-person visits.

By organizing open courts, NADRA seeks to build public trust and show its commitment to serving citizens better.
