Australian driver Oscar Piastri claimed victory at the Formula One Belgian Grand Prix, marking a significant win at the historic Spa-Francorchamps circuit. This marks one of the biggest achievements in his F1 career so far.
Piastri crossed the finish line in 1:25:22.601, securing 25 points for his team. His teammate, Lando Norris of the UK, finished second just 3.415 seconds behind, earning 18 points. Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc of Monaco completed the podium, finishing third with a gap of 20.185 seconds.
Defending world champion Max Verstappen from the Netherlands finished fourth for Red Bull, followed by George Russell of the UK in fifth place for Mercedes. Thailand’s Alex Albon impressed with a sixth-place finish for Williams.
Lewis Hamilton, now racing for Ferrari, secured seventh, while New Zealand’s Liam Lawson brought RB to eighth. Brazil’s Gabriel Bortoleto (Kick Sauber) came ninth, scoring his first 2 points, and France’s Pierre Gasly (Alpine) rounded out the top ten.
