Karachi board announces intermediate result 2025

The Higher Secondary Education Board Karachi has made history by announcing the results of the Intermediate XII examinations earlier than ever before.

For the first time, the results for the Home Economics and Special Candidates (Arts Regular) groups have been declared in July, well ahead of the deadline set by the education department’s steering committee.

Home Economics Group Toppers

Chairman Faqir Muhammad Lakho announced the top positions:

  • 1st Position: Iram Faisal bint Faisal Ahmed (Roll No. 2045) from Rana Liaquat Ali Khan Govt. College of Home Economics scored 1054 out of 1200 (A-1 grade).
  • 2nd Position: Iman Hashmi bint Shujaat Ali (Roll No. 2044) scored 988 marks (A-1 grade).
  • 3rd Position: Shanza Nayab bint Muhammad Aamir (Roll No. 2135) scored 980 marks (A-1 grade).

Out of 198 registered students, 189 appeared, and 112 passed, resulting in a pass percentage of 59.26%.

Grade-wise breakdown: 9 A-1, 24 A, 30 B, 31 C, and 18 D grades.

Special Candidates (Arts Regular Group) Toppers

In the special candidates’ category:

  • 1st Position: Syeda Faria bint Syed Ahsan Rashid (Roll No. 995539) from Dewa Higher Secondary School scored 960 out of 1100 (A-1 grade).
  • 2nd Position: Barira Islam bint Shaukat Islam Rana (Roll No. 995533) from Dewa Higher Secondary School scored 925 marks (A-1 grade).
  • 3rd Position: Iman Al-Shams bint Shams-ul-Haq (Roll No. 995502) from IDA-RIEU School & College for the Deaf scored 920 marks (A-1 grade).

Out of 116 registered, 114 appeared, and 103 passed, giving a success rate of 90.35%.
Grade-wise results: 19 A-1, 55 A, 27 B, and 2 C grades.

Examination Director Zarina Rashid praised the students’ efforts and the smooth conduct of the exams.
