Global Tech giant Microsoft has reportedly ended its operations in Pakistan, bringing an end to its 25-years of presence in the country.
An ex-employee of Microsoft, in a LinkedIn post, revealed that the development stated that the remaining employees were recently informed about the complete shutdown of the company’s local operations.
Microsoft has been operating in Pakistan since the late 1990s, offering software solutions, cloud services, and enterprise support to both the government and private sectors.
Over the years, it played a key role in advancing digital transformation and IT education across the country. However, no official announcement was made public by Microsoft itself.
