Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has unveiled a 30-member squad for the next stage of the U19 talent development program in Multan.
The intensive training camp will run from Monday, July 7, through August to groom emerging cricketers for international competitions.
The selection was finalized after extensive match simulations conducted in two assessment phases, with 65 aspiring cricketers participating under the guidance of Azhar Ali, PCB’s Youth Development Head.
The squad includes 20 fresh selections alongside 10 seasoned players who have previously donned the national U19 colors and remain eligible for the ICC U19 World Cup 2026.
Eligible cricketers must be born on or after 1 September 2006 to participate in the global event.
The evaluation process saw players divided into balanced teams that competed in multiple competitive fixtures.
This rigorous format enabled selectors to comprehensively assess technical proficiency, match temperament, and game awareness across all disciplines.
This final phase of development focuses on honing advanced technical skills while strengthening mental resilience, as PCB builds a formidable talent pipeline for both domestic cricket and international tournaments including next year’s U19 Asia Cup and World Cup.
