In view of rain-related emergency situations, the Sindh government has established a special rain emergency cell to ensure 24/7 coordination and immediate response across the province.
The rain emergency cell will function under the Chief Minister’s Secretariat with a continuous reporting system. It aims to maintain real-time communication with officers posted in rain-affected districts for quick updates and action.
According to a spokesperson, officers and deputy secretaries have been appointed in six major divisions – Karachi, Hyderabad, Shaheed Benazirabad, Mirpurkhas, Larkana, and Sukkur – for effective monitoring and coordination during rainfall.
