Gold price in Pakistan

The gold rates in Pakistan continued their downward trend as the rate of 24-karat gold per tola dropped by Rs 300, reaching a new price of Rs 358,165.

According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 10 grams of 24K gold also fell by Rs 257, bringing the new rate to Rs 376,068.

In the international market, the price of gold per ounce fell by $3, settling at $3,366. This global dip has contributed to local price adjustments.

Gold prices in Pakistan are influenced by global market trends, exchange rates, and local demand, making them volatile in recent weeks amid economic uncertainty.

The association also released updated rates for various gold purities. For 22K gold, the price per tola is Rs 330,907, while 10 grams is being sold for Rs 283,706.

For 21K gold, the tola rate stands at Rs 315,870 and 10 grams at Rs 270,813. Meanwhile, 20K gold is selling at Rs 300,905 per tola.

Those interested in 18K gold will find it at Rs 270,745 per tola and Rs 232,125 per 10 grams, reflecting the price slide across all categories.

Jewellers believe gold prices could remain under pressure as global rates continue to fluctuate and the dollar remains strong in international currency markets.
