Pakistan Airport Authority (PAA) shared the latest update on its airspace after Israel launched strikes across Iran, saying they targeted the “heart” of Iran’s nuclear programme.

PAA stated that Pakistan’s airspace remains fully operational, with no disruptions reported, despite heightened tensions in the region impacting air travel routes.

According to the official press release issued from the Authority’s headquarters in Karachi, international flights continue to pass through Pakistani airspace without interruption.

Lauding its robust air traffic control systems and trained personnel, officials confirmed that the country is managing increased air traffic efficiently and professionally.

“Despite the regional security situation, there is no disturbance in Pakistan’s airspace,” the statement added.

Pakistan is coordinating closely with relevant domestic and international agencies to ensure seamless operations and safety for all flights utilizing its air corridor.

The press release stressed that Pakistan is equipped to handle additional air movement with effective airspace management and real-time monitoring across all aviation zones.

The Pakistan Airports Authority assured that safety, security, and operational continuity remain their top priorities under all circumstances.

Air travel analysts noted that many international carriers are still routing flights through Pakistani airspace amid regional detours, reflecting global trust in the country’s aviation infrastructure.
