Islamabad United has confirmed the South Africa’s Rassie van der Dussen and English batter, Alex Hales, have rejoined the team for the remainder matches of PSL X.
The franchise expressed confidence in Van der Dussen as his presence will raise the competition’s overall quality, describing him as “one of the most respected batters in the modern game.”
Meanwhile, Alex Hales, a familiar face to Islamabad fans, returns with great enthusiasm.
“Islamabad United has always been close to my heart,” Hales said.
“They were the first PSL team I played for in Pakistan, and the support has been incredible. I’m thrilled to be back in red and hope to contribute to another title run.”
Hales acknowledged he had to reshuffle commitments due to the change in PSL dates but affirmed his excitement at rejoining the team.
With Rassie’s debut and Hales’ return, Islamabad United looks set to strengthen its campaign and aim for another Pakistan Super League trophy.
