A tragic accident in Karachi’s Native Jetty bridge resulted in the deaths of a father and son when a high-speed trailer collided with a car, rickshaw, and motorcycle.
Rescue officials report that the car was struck by the trailer and plunged off the bridge, leading to the fatalities.
The father and son lost their lives in the crash, while the rickshaw rider suffered serious injuries.
Their bodies were shifted to the hospital for medical attention.
In another incident last week, a high-speed trailer collided with a motorcycle near Malir Murghi Khana, killing one and injuring another.
Police and rescue teams responded promptly, taking the deceased and injured to the hospital. The injured person, identified as Wajid, is reported to be out of danger.
In both cases, the drivers of the trailers involved fled the scene. Police have taken the trailers into custody and are continuing their investigations.
