The Sindh Narcotics Control Department successfully seized drugs worth billions of rupees during an operation near Ghaghar Phatak area of Karachi’s Bin Qasim Town.
As per the details, the narcotic officers discovered a vehicle loaded with illegal and unregistered pen color pills during a snap check near Sassi Toll Plaza
Sindh Minister for Excise, Taxation, and Narcotics Control, Mukesh Kumar Chawla, informed the media that laboratory tests on the seized substances indicated they could be used to produce large quantities of ice crystals and cocaine.
He highlighted that the department has increased surveillance at the province’s entry and exit points and stepped up snap checks in urban areas as part of their ongoing efforts to combat drug trafficking.
The Secretary of Excise, Taxation, and Narcotics Control, officials arrested two suspects during the operation.
