The Karachi Water Corporation has introduced a special discount scheme, offering a 35 percent reduction on outstanding water bill payments.

The initiative, led by Mayor Murtaza Wahab, aims to help citizens clear their dues at a lower cost while encouraging timely payments.

According to the corporation, this limited-time offer is valid until January 31, 2025, after which normal billing procedures and penalties will resume.

Defaulters who have accrued months of unpaid bills can benefit by making full payments before the deadline.

The corporation has emphasized that failure to clear dues by the deadline may result in serious consequences, including disconnection of water and sewerage services or confiscation of property-installed water pumps.

This move is part of a broader strategy to streamline billing systems and recover overdue payments, ensuring better financial management. Residents are encouraged to visit Water Corporation offices or use the helpline for more details and to complete payments.
