The retail price of cement has seen a minor decrease across Pakistan during the week ending November 21, according to data from the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics.
In northern cities, the average price of a cement sack dropped by Rs 0.75, with the new price recorded at Rs 1449, compared to Rs 1460 the previous week. In southern cities, the price decreased by 0.57%, with the average retail price per sack standing at Rs 1389, down from Rs 1397.

Further details reveal that in Islamabad, the average price was Rs 1432; in Rawalpindi, it was Rs 1420; and in Gujranwala, the price stood at Rs 1450. Other cities like Lahore saw a higher price at Rs 1493, while in Faisalabad, it was Rs 1448. Prices in Peshawar and Multan were recorded at Rs 1453 and Rs 1463, respectively.
In the southern region, Karachi and Hyderabad had a retail price of Rs 1340, while in Sukkur, the price was higher at Rs 1450. The average price in Quetta was Rs 1456, and in Khuzdar, it was Rs 1347.
