In a major Intelligence Based Operation (IBO), the Customs Enforcement Collectorate in Karachi successfully recovered Non-Customs Paid (NCP) vehicles and motorcycles valued at more than Rs 400 mln.
According to a Customs spokesperson, the initial phase of the anti-smuggling raids targeted warehouses in the Defense and Saddar areas, where 37 heavy motorcycles worth Rs 107.6 million were seized.
Meanwhile, the second raid took place in the Malir Cantt area, resulting in the recovery of 21 vehicles from a warehouse, with an estimated value of Rs 337.5 million.
The Customs authorities have initiated further investigations into the case by registering formal cases concerning the recovery of these NCP vehicles.
