The Pakistan Institute of Fashion and Design (PIFD) is set to open a new campus for young students in Karachi.
This expansion has been made possible through the efforts of the Federal Minister of Education and Science and Technology, Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui.
The Karachi campus will be inaugurated by Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, providing local students with access to the renowned institution.
Siddiqui stressed the importance of technical skills in today’s job market, noting that many top global companies now prioritize technical expertise over formal degrees.
He expressed his hope that PIFD’s Karachi campus will inspire students to pursue specialized skills.
“The government aims to extend this institution’s reach to all regions of Pakistan,” he added.
PIFD, originally established in Lahore, has been instrumental in shaping future leaders in fashion and design.
The new Karachi campus promises to enhance access to quality education and support students in developing industry-relevant skills to meet the demands of an evolving job market.
