According to the agency, the suspects allegedly used social media profiles created under the names of women and girls to attract customers and promote pornographic animated content involving children.

The revelations followed an operation in Gulistan-e-Jauhar, Karachi, during which the NCCIA detained 42 people. Of those detained, 13 were formally arrested, according to the information provided by the agency.

The arrested suspects were presented before a court, which granted four days of physical remand for further investigation.

How the Alleged Network Operated

NCCIA officials said three companies allegedly linked to a single individual operated through a coordinated, three-stage process. Investigators are examining the companies’ roles and how their activities were organised.

According to Deputy Director Shehzad Akbar, the suspects allegedly produced animated pornographic content involving minors and also created avatars resembling real people for pornographic material.

The network reportedly offered two types of products: previously produced clips from an existing content library and customised material created according to individual customers’ requests.

Investigators are examining how the material was produced, advertised and delivered to buyers, as well as the digital accounts and devices allegedly used in the operation.

Fake Social Media Profiles Used to Find Customers

According to the NCCIA, fake social media profiles were allegedly used to reach potential customers in foreign markets, including the United States and Germany.

The agency said some buyers allegedly selected content from the network’s existing library, while others requested customised material.

Investigators also alleged that some buyers were blackmailed after receiving the material, with suspects allegedly using evidence connected to their transactions as leverage.

These claims remain allegations under investigation. The agency has not provided a complete breakdown of the identified customers or the extent of the alleged blackmail.

Investigators Examine Superimposed Clips

NCCIA Additional Director Tariq Nawaz told the media that investigators had found evidence of superimposed clips and were conducting further inquiries into the material.

Officials are also investigating whether buyers were Pakistani nationals or foreigners. The agency said this part of the inquiry would help establish the network’s reach and identify other people who may have been involved.

Investigators are examining the available evidence to determine the alleged roles of the companies, their employees and other suspected participants.

Court Grants Four-Day Physical Remand

The arrested suspects were presented before a court on Sunday, October 25, 2026, according to the supplied report. The court granted the NCCIA four days of physical remand to continue questioning the suspects and investigating the case.

The agency is expected to use the remand period to examine digital evidence, trace alleged customers and investigate the network’s financial and operational links.

The allegations against the suspects have not been established in court. Further legal proceedings will depend on the evidence gathered during the investigation.
