Investigators sought his phone records and information about people who had been in contact with him through a telecommunications company as part of efforts to establish the circumstances surrounding his death.

Police also questioned the driver of the online taxi in which Raza had travelled.

In his statement, the driver said he had dropped Raza at his kitchen in Gulistan-e-Jauhar.

Family Had Been Preparing for His Wedding

Mir Raza’s father said his son was due to get married on August 30 at Bait-ul-Mukarram Mosque in Gulshan-e-Iqbal.

According to his father, Raza had been happy about beginning a new chapter of his life.

The case prompted questions about the circumstances of Raza’s death and the handling of evidence during the initial investigation. The commission subsequently examined the case and issued recommendations concerning the investigation and the conduct of relevant officials.
