Gold rate in Pakistan staged a rebound on Wednesday, closing the month of September on a positive note after a turbulent trading period. The 24-karat gold rate rose by Rs. 4,300, closing at Rs. 441,636 per tola.

This solid gain follows two consecutive sessions of losses, suggesting that buying interest has returned after the recent sharp correction. The recovery indicates that investors viewed the recent dip as an attractive entry point.
In 10 grams, 24-karat gold increased by Rs. 3,686 to Rs. 378,631, while 22-karat gold rose by Rs. 3,379 to Rs. 347,091. The broad-based gains across all variants indicate renewed buying pressure.
The recovery was fueled by a strong rebound in global markets. The international gold price rose by $43 to $4,191, recovering from recent lows. This global strength provided the primary catalyst for local buying enthusiasm.
Despite today’s gain, gold remains significantly below the late August peak above Rs. 483,000, having lost approximately Rs. 42,000 per tola during September. However, the metal remains well above the July lows near Rs. 421,000, and today’s recovery may signal that the worst of the correction is over.
A dar earlier, gold rate in Pakistan continued to decline on Tuesday, although the pace of the fall slowed significantly compared with the previous session. The 24-karat gold rate decreased by Rs800, closing at Rs437,336 per tola.
The latest decline follows Monday’s Rs12,800 drop, with the smaller movement indicating that selling pressure has eased compared with the previous session.
