This significant rebound, the largest single-day gain in over a week, suggests that buyers have returned to the market after the recent correction. The recovery indicates that the dip below Rs. 450,000 was viewed as an attractive entry point by investors.

In 10 grams, 24-karat gold increased by Rs. 4,029 to Rs. 388,404, while 22-karat gold rose by Rs. 3,694 to Rs. 356,050. The broad-based gains across all variants indicate a powerful wave of buying interest.

The recovery was fueled by a strong rebound in global markets. The international gold price rose by $47 to $4,305, recovering from recent lows. This global strength provided the primary catalyst for local buying enthusiasm.

Since the late August peak above Rs. 483,000, gold remains below those highs. However, the recovery from Thursday’s lows below Rs. 449,000 represents a bounce of approximately Rs. 4,700 per tola, suggesting that a short-term bottom may have formed.

A day earlier, Gold Rate in Pakistan suffered a sharp decline on Thursday, with the yellow metal posting its largest single-day drop in over a week. The 24-karat gold rate plummeted by Rs. 5,600, closing at Rs. 448,336 per tola.

This significant decline marks the fourth consecutive session of losses, and the accelerated pace of the drop suggests that selling pressure has intensified considerably. The yellow metal has now fallen below the Rs. 450,000 psychological level for the first time since August.

In 10 grams, 24-karat gold decreased by Rs. 4,801 to Rs. 384,375, while 22-karat gold fell by Rs. 4,401 to Rs. 352,356. The substantial declines across all variants indicate broad-based weakness in the market.

All rates are officially certified by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, based on interbank exchange rates for purity 999 (24K).
