According to the PMD, Karachi residents should prepare for increasingly hot and humid weather over the coming days, with temperatures expected to rise steadily and humidity remaining elevated throughout the forecast period.
Karachi Weather on Monday, June 8, 2026
Monday will remain hot and humid across Karachi, with maximum temperatures expected to range between 36°C to 38°C.
Minimum temperatures recorded at 30°C overnight, while morning humidity remained at 72 per cent. Evening humidity is expected to remain between 55–65 per cent.
Winds will continue to blow from the west and southwesterly directions.

Weather conditions are expected to intensify on Tuesday, with very hot and humid conditions prevailing across the city.
Maximum temperatures are likely to rise further and range between 37°C and 39°C, while minimum temperatures will remain between 29°C to 31°C.
Morning humidity is forecast between 70–80 per cent, while evening humidity will remain between 55–65 per cent. West to southwesterly winds are expected to continue.

Wednesday is expected to be the hottest day of the three-day forecast period, with very hot and humid weather continuing across Karachi.

Maximum temperatures are forecast to range between 38°C to 40°C, while minimum temperatures will remain between 29°C and 31°C.
Morning humidity will continue between 70–80 per cent, while evening humidity is expected to remain between 55–65 per cent. Winds will continue blowing from the west and southwesterly directions.
Heatwave Conditions Intensify Across Sindh
The PMD has stated that temperatures across several districts of Sindh may remain 4–6°C above normal during the forecast period.
Extreme temperatures of 48–51°C are expected in districts including Sukkur, Jacobabad, Larkana, Dadu, Ghotki, Khairpur and Shaheed Benazirabad, while Hyderabad, Mirpur Khas, Badin, Matiari, Sanghar and other districts may experience temperatures between 42°C and 45°C.
Karachi May Experience 39–42°C During Heatwave
The weather department has forecast that maximum temperatures in Karachi could reach between 39°C to 42°C between June 9 to June 12 as the heatwave strengthens across the province.
Although Karachi is expected to remain relatively cooler than upper Sindh due to its coastal location, high humidity levels are likely to make conditions feel significantly hotter.
Dust-Storm Risk in Plain Areas
Due to intense heating, isolated dust storms may occur in plain areas of Sindh during the forecast period.
These weather events may temporarily reduce visibility and create travel disruptions in affected areas.
Public Health Advisory for Heatwave Conditions
The general public, especially children, women and senior citizens, are advised to take precautionary measures during the ongoing heatwave.
