According to the latest rates issued by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat silver moved back above the Rs. 8,000 per tola mark amid cautious buying activity.
Silver Rates in Karachi – May 18, 2026:
- Silver (24K) per tola: Rs. 8,099, increased by Rs. 26
- Silver (24K) per 10 grams: Rs. 6,943, increased by Rs. 22
- International silver price per ounce: $76.15, increased by $0.26
Bullion traders said the latest rise reflects gradual stabilization in the silver market following recent downward pressure linked to fluctuations in international commodity prices and currency movements.

The recovery comes as investors continue monitoring global precious metal trends, particularly movements in the US dollar and international demand for safe-haven assets.
