Pakistan’s bullion market recorded a strong recovery on Tuesday, as gold prices bounced back sharply following the previous session’s steep decline.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold per tola rose by Rs. 4,100, settling at Rs. 492,462.

Similarly, the rate of 24-karat gold per 10 grams increased by Rs. 3,515, closing at Rs. 422,206, while 22-karat gold per 10 grams climbed by Rs. 3,222 to Rs. 387,036.
Gold rates in Pakistan on Tuesday, May 12, 2026:
- Gold, 24K per tola: Rs. 492,462 (+4,100)
- Gold, 24K per 10 grams: Rs. 422,206 (+3,515)
- Gold, 22K per 10 grams: Rs. 387,036 (+3,222)
Meanwhile, international gold prices also recorded a strong recovery, gaining $41 to settle at $4,701 per ounce.

The rebound in global bullion markets provided a strong lift to domestic gold prices, as investors returned to the market following the previous day’s sharp pullback.
All rates are officially certified by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, based on interbank exchange rates for 999 purity (24K).
