The Karachi International Book and EdTech Fair 2026 began on Friday at the Karachi Expo Centre, drawing large crowds on its opening day and turning the venue into a hub of learning and innovation.
Organised by M Tech Systems, Urdu Academy Sindh, and Orbit Advertising, the three-day event combines books with modern educational technology.

A major highlight of the fair is “Robothon 3.0,” where children actively participated in robotics competitions, showing strong interest in science and technology activities.
On the first day, several sessions were held featuring education experts, policymakers, and authors. Discussions focused on artificial intelligence in education, STEM learning, unified curriculum, education journalism, and teacher training.

The event features more than 200 book and edtech stalls, showcasing a wide range of publications and digital learning tools for students, teachers, and professionals.
Over 75 national and international organisations are participating, reflecting growing global interest in Pakistan’s education and technology sectors.

Interactive zones have also been set up, including a live robot-making area where visitors can build and engage in hands-on learning experiences.
