Pakistan is set to host Australia for a three-match ODI series next month, with all fixtures tentatively scheduled to be played at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, according to Geo Super.

The Pakistan Cricket Board is yet to officially confirm the final schedule.

The series holds special significance as it will mark Australia’s first visit to Pakistan for a 50-over series since 2022, when the home side clinched a 2-1 series victory against the Australians.

In terms of historical head-to-head record, Australia have largely dominated the rivalry, leading Pakistan 71-36 in 111 ODI encounters, with three games ending in no result.

After concluding their Pakistan tour, Australia will head to Bangladesh for a white-ball series in June 2026, ending a lengthy gap of 15 years between bilateral ODI contests between the two countries.

The ODI matches in Bangladesh are scheduled for June 9, 11 and 14 at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka, followed by three T20Is in Chattogram on June 17, 19 and 21.

Meanwhile, Pakistan are currently preparing for an important red-ball tour of Bangladesh, where they will compete in a two-match Test series as part of the ICC World Test Championship 2025-27 cycle.

This will be their first Test assignment since a 1-1 drawn series against South Africa at home last October.

The first Test is scheduled to begin in Dhaka from May 8 to 12, while the second will be played at Sylhet International Cricket Stadium from May 16 to 20.

Shan Masood will captain the Test side, with four uncapped players including Abdullah Fazal, Amad Butt, Azan Awais and Muhammad Ghazi Ghori earning their first national call-ups.
