The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has issued its latest weather forecast for Karachi, predicting hot and humid conditions over the next three days from April 29 to May 1, 2026.

According to the PMD, while Karachi will experience hot and humid weather, a heatwave alert has been issued for central and upper parts of Sindh, where daytime maximum temperatures are likely to remain 4-6°C above normal till May 3.

Districts including Jamshoro, Dadu, Shaheed Benazirabad, Kashmore, Ghotki, Sanghar, Khairpur, Nosheroferoz, Jacobabad, Larkana and Sukkur are expected to bear the brunt of the heatwave conditions.

Karachi Weather on Wednesday, April 29, 2026

Wednesday will bring hot and humid conditions to Karachi with maximum temperatures ranging between 34-36°C. Minimum temperatures will hover around 27.5°C overnight. Morning humidity will remain high at 81 per cent while evening levels will ease to 50-60 per cent. Winds will blow from a West/Southwesterly direction.

Thursday will see temperatures climbing further with highs reaching 35-37°C. Overnight lows will range between 27-29°C. Morning humidity will decrease slightly to 70-80 per cent while evening levels will remain at 50-60 per cent. Winds will continue from a West/Southwesterly direction.

Karachi Weather on Friday, May 1, 2026

Friday will bring the hottest conditions of the three-day period with maximum temperatures soaring to 36-38°C. Minimum temperatures will remain between 27-29°C. Morning humidity will ease to 65-75 per cent while evening levels will drop to 40-50 per cent. Winds will blow from a West/Southwesterly direction.

The PMD has advised the general public, especially children, women and senior citizens across the province to take precautionary measures.

Residents are strongly advised to avoid direct sun exposure during daytime hours and remain well hydrated.

Farmers are also advised to manage their crop activities and take care of their livestock keeping in view the prevailing weather conditions.
