A 26-year-old from Karachi, Sualeh Asif, has made it to the Forbes Billionaires List 2026, marking a major milestone for Pakistan’s tech ecosystem.

Asif is the cofounder of Cursor, an AI-powered code editing tool developed under his company Anysphere, which has rapidly emerged as one of the fastest-growing startups globally.

Cursor reached a valuation of $29.3 billion in November 2025 after raising $2.3 billion in a funding round co-led by major venture capital firms Accel and Coatue.
