Silver prices in Pakistan extended their downward trend on Thursday, reflecting continued weakness in the international market and cautious investor sentiment.

According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat silver per tola declined by Rs. 225, settling at Rs. 8,099.

Similarly, the rate of 24-karat silver per 10 grams decreased by Rs. 193 to Rs. 6,943.

The drop in domestic silver rates follows a notable decline in global prices, indicating persistent pressure in the precious metals market.

Silver rates in Pakistan for Thursday, April 23, 2026:

  • Silver, 24K per tola: Rs. 8,099 (-225)
  • Silver, 24K per 10 grams: Rs. 6,943 (-193)

In the international market, silver prices fell sharply by $2.25 to settle at $76.15 per ounce.

Market analysts attribute the decline to short-term corrections and subdued trading activity, although silver continues to draw support from its industrial demand and investment appeal.

All rates are officially certified by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, based on interbank exchange rates for 999 purity (24K).
