Gold prices in Pakistan continued their downward trend on Thursday, slipping further below the Rs. 500,000 mark in line with a sharp decline in international bullion rates.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold per tola dropped by Rs. 5,200, settling at Rs. 493,762.

Similarly, the rate of 24-karat gold per 10 grams decreased by Rs. 4,458 to Rs. 423,321, while 22-karat gold per 10 grams fell by Rs. 4,087, closing at Rs. 388,058.

- Gold, 24K per tola: Rs. 493,762 (-5,200)
- Gold, 24K per 10 grams: Rs. 423,321 (-4,458)
- Gold, 22K per 10 grams: Rs. 388,058 (-4,087)
Meanwhile, international gold prices witnessed a notable decline, dropping by $52 to settle at $4,714 per ounce.

Market analysts attribute the sharp fall to ongoing corrections in the global market, as investor sentiment remains cautious amid shifting economic signals and fluctuating demand for safe-haven assets.
All rates are officially certified by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, based on interbank exchange rates for 999 purity (24K).
