Gold prices in Pakistan declined on Wednesday, extending the recent downward trend as the bullion market tracked a slight dip in international rates.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold per tola fell by Rs. 1,200 to Rs. 498,962, slipping below the Rs. 500,000 mark.

The decline reflects continued pressure in global gold markets amid cautious investor sentiment.
Similarly, the price of 24-karat gold per 10 grams decreased by Rs. 1,029 to Rs. 427,779.
The rate of 22-karat gold per 10 grams also dropped by Rs. 943, settling at Rs. 392,145.

- Gold, 24K per tola: Rs. 498,962 (-1,200)
- Gold, 24K per 10 grams: Rs. 427,779 (-1,029)
- Gold, 22K per 10 grams: Rs. 392,145 (-943)
Meanwhile, international gold prices edged lower by $12, closing at $4,766 per ounce.

Market analysts attribute the dip to short-term corrections in the global market, though broader sentiment remains tied to economic uncertainty and safe-haven demand.
All rates are officially certified by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, based on interbank exchange rates for 999 purity (24K).
