Gold prices in Pakistan declined on Friday, snapping recent upward momentum as the bullion market tracked a slight correction in international rates.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold per tola dropped by Rs. 3,300 to Rs. 501,562, though it remained above the Rs. 500,000 mark.

The downward adjustment reflects mild pressure in global gold markets amid shifting investor sentiment.
Similarly, the price of 24-karat gold per 10 grams decreased by Rs. 2,829 to Rs. 430,008.
The rate of 22-karat gold per 10 grams also declined by Rs. 2,593, settling at Rs. 394,188.
Gold rates in Pakistan for Friday, April 17, 2026:
- Gold, 24K per tola: Rs. 501,562 (-3,300)
- Gold, 24K per 10 grams: Rs. 430,008 (-2,829)
- Gold, 22K per 10 grams: Rs. 394,188 (-2,593)
Meanwhile, international gold prices eased by $33, closing at $4,792 per ounce.

Market analysts say the dip reflects short-term profit-taking and cautious global trading, although overall sentiment remains influenced by ongoing economic uncertainty and safe-haven demand.
All rates are officially certified by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, based on interbank exchange rates for 999 purity (24K).
