The beautiful European country Spain, has launched the cheapest visa in Europe, which can now be obtained for just Rs 21,000.
According to foreign media reports, Spain is known as one of the most beautiful but expensive countries in Europe.
However, it has now introduced the most affordable visa in European history for non-European individuals, with a fee of only $75 (approximately PKR 21,000).
Spain launches ‘Digital Nomad Visa’
Reports indicate that Spain has launched a new “Digital Nomad Visa” designed for non-European remote workers who want to live and work in Spain for a year or more.
Under Spain’s Startup Act, this visa aims to attract global talent and remote professionals. It is significantly cheaper and easier to obtain than traditional work permits.
With this visa, non-European individuals can live in Spain while working for non-Spanish clients or companies.

Who can apply for the Digital Nomad Visa?
- The Digital Nomad Visa is only for non-European citizens. Visa holders must work remotely.
- Applicants can either be employed by a non-Spanish company, or work as independent professionals (freelancers).
- Applicants must earn at least 80pc of their income from non-Spanish sources, and must have worked with their client or company for at least three months prior to applying.
- Another condition is that the applicant’s business or employment must be at least one year old.

- Easier to obtain than traditional work visas.
- Allows you to live in Spain for one year, with the possibility to extend your stay.
- If the visa holder meets income requirements, they can bring their family to live in Spain as well.
