According to a K-Electric spokesperson, the recent power breakdown at the Dhabeji Pumping Station occurred due to an internal cable fault within the station.
K-Electric received a request at 4:30 AM to assist in resolving the internal issue, the spokesperson confirmed.

The spokesperson clarified that there was no disruption in power supply from the K-Electric side to the pumping station. However, in public interest, K-Electric teams supported the Karachi Water Board in identifying and fixing the fault.
The spokesperson added that power supply to all Dhabeji pumping stations is currently stable and ongoing.
